About Colleen Moss

Due to the current NNP shortage, I am interested in identifying creative solutions to workforce shortages in order to improve neonatal care. My DNP project focused on the application of evidence-based mentoring guidelines to examine the outcomes of mentoring relationships. Mentoring facilitates success of new graduate NNPs through fostering confidence in the nurse practitioner role. Mentoring programs are a strategy to recruit and retain NNPs, thereby addressing the NNP workforce shortage.
