• Assist in surgical procedures as either a sterile or non-sterile technician and appropriately monitor anesthesia• Administration of injectable and oral medications and anesthesia• Confidently perform venipuncture and IV catheter placements• Take diagnostic radiographs and perform multiple blood diagnostics, urine diagnostics, and fecal diagnostics• Assist in the on boarding and training of receptionists, veterinary assistants, and veterinary technicians• Perform weekly ordering of medical supplies and quarterly inventory• Submit Rabies licensing paperwork to the county monthly and health certificates for the state monthly• Educate clients on medications, flea prevention, heartworm prevention, vaccines, and anesthetic procedures• Ensure quality medical notes are entered into computer• Properly check clients in and out for their appointments • Answer phone calls efficiently and effectively • Assist clients with picking up outpatient medications
