I am very excited to have joined RWDI AIR Inc. and be a part of the Industry Project Delivery Team.

I am the Suncor representative and point of contact for the Contractors that fall under my area of responsibility; building services. My accountabilities include disseminating information from Suncor to the Contractor, monitoring quality of work, encouraging safety compliance in conjunction with EHS efforts, verifying daily LEMs, budget forecasting and tracking costs and spend.

I was the liason between our three Asian offices, who directly serviced the clients, and the Canada Revenue Agency. This role dealt with non-resident income tax. Our international clients invested in undivided interests of land and I managed the yearly tax cycle, handling all tax compliance responsibilities related to those investments. These tasks included calculating withholding tax, applying for certificates of compliance, preparing personal tax returns and resolving long-outstanding historical issues. This role required exceptional communication and soft skills as well as top organizational capabilities.

This position was based in Kabul, Afghanistan. I coordinated the travel to and from the job site for both Canadian and international employees. Logistics had to be coordinated with travel agencies in both Canada and the UAE, the local airlines; Ariana Afghan Airlines and Kam Air, our security team, military logistics operations and military transport. Responsibilities included procuring paper tickets from the local airlines and organizing international connections, renewing pasports and visas and accurately maintaining the transportation spreadsheet. This position required the ability to work under pressure and handle a high volume of work. Organizational skills were key.
