Responsible for the planning, directing and managing the overall provision of Human Resources services, strategic planning, policies and programs to support management and staff.

As a day-to-day business partner, I worked with the District Managers and their teams, providing HR leadership, expertise and support in the areas of engagement, change management, employee and labour relations, talent management, workforce planning, recruitment, performance management, leadership development, and HR policy administration and compliance.

Serves as consultant on strategic human resources related issues such as employee relations, total rewards, talent management & acquisition while building strong relationships with business units.

Leads full recruitment cycle and strategic consultative services to a portfolio of internal business units within a major public transportation organization (crown agency)

Responsible for full cycle recruitment of union and non-union positions including Directors, Managers, Frontline Healthcare workers and New Graduate Nurses (Ontario Ministry of Recruitment initiatives). Collaborated with HR Leadership & Team, Program Directors and Managers to meet human resource needs within a unionized healthcare environment.

Provided a range of consultative services to employees and managers within a program service groups, I developed strategic working relationships with all levels of the management to meet organizational goals.

While reporting to the Manager of Compensation and Benefits I provided Administrative and Human Resources guidance to managers and employees. Responded to requests from internal and external clients on a variety of Human Resources and Payroll topics (leave plans, benefit plans, compensation, recruitment processes, employment eligibility, labour relations, human resources policies and procedures)
