___________BigInsights documentation team lead (2011-2015): ◆ Led a 7 person team through all aspects of the agile documentation cycle for IBM BigInsights, a big data product, including negotiation for resources, sizing, creating assignments, prioritizing goals, setting schedules, writing and editing task-based topics in DITA, reviewing, testing, and delivering. ◆ Published approximately 1500 topics for each of the 8 releases per year (on average).◆ Coordinated, planned, delivered, and tested translation of 200 topics into 5 languages. ◆ Coordinated, scheduled, and delivered a subset of topics for single sourcing on parallel products on different release schedules. __________U.S. Documentation Team Lead Forum owner (2009 - 2012):◆ Presented monthly best practice education sessions for all IBM documentation team leads across the U.S. ◆ Topics included information currency, customer feedback, content reuse, quality improvement metrics, and agile development. ◆ The sessions resulted in the creation of a document listing the required processes for all stages of the documentation process. __________Content Manager documentation team lead (2002 - 2011):◆ Led a team of 10 writers in all aspects of the documentation cycle for the Content Manager product. This work included recruiting resources, creating schedules, writing, delivery, and simultaneous translation. ◆ Received an award for an out-of-the-box approach to fix numerous post-translation changes to the product that were too late for documentation deadlines.

Evaluated, edited, and wrote embedded assistance while developing training material. This was a short term contract position.

Recruited and managed writers while editing and writing embedded assistance, user guide information, and viewlets. Enjoyed voice-over work for our company videos, working with development on user testing of new design ideas, and designing the documentation layout.

As an individual contributor, I wrote, edited, and organized the topics for the mechanical engineering software's library. I created a master index for the library, and provided education to the writers about quality, consistency, and style.As a team lead, I organized schedules, prioritized work, and collaborated with QA on testing the documentation.
