Colleen Fitzgerald leads Corporate Strategy and Development for Aerojet Rocketdyne (NYSE: AJRD), reporting to the SVP of Strategy and Business Development. In this role, she directs the Integration Management Office (IMO) for the $4.7B L3Harris transaction, following her leadership of the Corporate Development and diligence teams for the sell-side diligence phase.Ms. Fitzgerald has 13 years of experience in the Space and Defense industry and has held a range of positions in Corporate Development, Strategic Planning and Business Development, Finance, and Engineering Project Management. She began her career as a Project Management and Finance Analyst enabling the commercialization of clean energy technology developed from rocket engine IP at Pratt and Whitney Rocketdyne.Applying her experience working closely with Business Development and technical teams, she advanced professionally through a series of roles in Strategy and the Corporate office. She joined Strategic Planning focused on New Business Funds portfolio optimization and business case investment analyses. In Corporate Development, she oversaw analysis for M&A strategy and execution, target company and Competitive Intelligence research, strategic market assessments, customer surveys, cost reduction initiatives, and other special projects.During the planned $4.4B Lockheed Martin transaction, she executed sell-side diligence and integration planning as a key leader of the Corporate Development deal team and IMO, while leading the evolution and publishing of the company’s Space and Defense Quarterly Industry Update report.Ms. Fitzgerald received a Bachelor of Science in Economics with a Concentration in Finance from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. She completed the Aerojet Rocketdyne Emerging Leaders program and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
