Colleen holds the role of Executive Director of Broward County's Local College Access Network Bridge 2 Life (B2L), a program serving 10,000 young individuals each year. B2L operates under the umbrella of the Broward Education Foundation.She is an active community leader with extensive private sector experience. In her global work with Sprint, British Telecom, France Telecom, AT&T, Covance and Omnicomm Systems she led strategic planning initiatives and managed operational/IT deployments in the US, Western Europe and the Middle East. However, for the past decade, her focus has been intently on serving the youth of South Florida and the broader community.In her role as the Collective Impact Leader of Bridge 2 Life, Colleen is dedicated to narrowing the equity gap in post-secondary attainment at a systemic level, all while actively exploring and implementing interventions to support students in their immediate educational journey. Recognizing that individual programs and isolated organizational efforts are insufficient for driving the systemic changes needed throughout Broward County, B2L engages with hundreds of stakeholders to establish a shared, inclusive, and data-driven comprehension of what the young people of Broward County require to thrive.Colleen's dedication to community service extends beyond her work at B2L. She has been a board member of Fleet Week Port Everglades since 2011, introducing active military personnel to youth through the annual Fleet Week Tech Summit. Additionally, she has held the position of President of the Council of Fort Lauderdale Civic Associations, where she represented the interests of over 70 civic associations within the city. Colleen also served on the City of Fort Lauderdale's Education Advisory Board and currently serves as the chair for the Greater Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce Education and Workforce Council.
