Tasked with relaying county guidelines, curriculum updates, training material and children development.• Provides on-site embedded professional development through side-by-side coaching techniques, modeling lessons, video-taping and using targeted teacher observations to enhance best practices in instructional presentation.• Develops and implements professional development related to evidence-based practices and teacher needs in the Pre-Kindergarten setting.• Analyzes assessment data and collaborates with teachers and other support staff to make instructional recommendations.• Establishes and maintains a cooperative working relationship with families, school personnel and community.• Works collaboratively with other MECK Pre-K Success coaches to develop strategies for teaching expected outcomes in the Pre-Kindergarten classroom.• Provides feedback and documentation to child care center Administrators, MECK Pre-K, Director and MECK Pre-K Specialist.• Models lessons using appropriate early literacy strategies and developmentally appropriate practices.• Attend required coach trainings (e.g., the Classroom Assessment Scoring System (CLASS™) certification and related professional development for coaching staff).• Reviews, analyzes and interprets data from CLASS™ assessments and Teaching Strategies measures to ensure that Creative Curriculum and Teaching Strategies Gold are implemented to fidelity.• Provides onsite technical assistance and coaching related to the professional development plan, reporting dates of visits, material covered, progress made and provides monthly reports of coaching by site and classroom (through an online tracking• system).• Attend meetings as needed to coordinate coaching, instructional best practices, program administration, the identification of challenges or trends across MECK Pre-K classrooms to inform and strategize as to additional efforts needed
