I believe that together we have the power to create transformative change. Throughout my career, I’ve worked at the intersection of sectors, exploring how collectively those sectors can improve the wellbeing of communities. That started in corporate partnerships at the World Wildlife Fund focused on water stewardship with The Coca-Cola Company, then in corporate social responsibility at Raytheon supporting science, technology, engineering and mathematics education and veterans initiatives, and most recently facilitating cross-sector partnerships at StriveTogether to advance educational equity and improve economic mobility. In each role, the north star has been creating a positive social impact for community members locally and across the globe through collaboration, community co-design, adaptive leadership, and continuous improvement. I’m now supporting public and nonprofit sector clients in advancing meaningful impact for their communities at GBSM, a public affairs and management consulting firm, through stakeholder engagement, communications, and facilitation.

I also led the implementation of multiple multi-million dollar grants to our local sites, developing a new funding strategy that aligned to organizational goals and mission, disrupted traditional grantmaking practices to better met grantee and community needs, spurred innovation, and resulted in tangible changes to systems and improved academic outcomes across the cradle to career spectrum. -
Nashville Regional Founder And DirectorThe Urban Leaders Fellowship Aug 2014 - Oct 2015Greater Nashville Area, TnA former Urban Leaders Fellow (Denver '14), I led the expansion of the fellowship to a Nashville in 2015 and built the program from the ground up. This required relationship building with local nonprofits, government agencies, school districts, political leaders, and other local and state organizations to secure partners who would ultimately hire the fellows or support programming (site visits, speaking engagements, etc.) for the fellows' professional and personal development. I recruited and interviewed applicants and managed 12 fellows, including their placement in 11 community organizations and oversight of four policy teams supporting Metro Nashville Public Schools board member Elissa Kim and MNPS's Office of Innovation. Policy topics included human capital, portfolio management, academic performance, and budget analysis.
