It was a great company to start out at. I was thrown into a few things that I didn't feel like I was completely prepared for but it made me realize that is common in the work field. It also challenged my problem solving skills because I had to figure out a lot of things on my own. I started off participating in a Rapid Improvement Event. I was educated on how the company handled continuous improvement and it was an amazing learning experience. I assisted in the start-up of a brand new production line. I created standardized work documents for the line workers. I spent many hours on the line and was able to learn of the many aspects that goes into designing and building a production line. During my time with the company, they were undergoing rapid expansion. They were planning to build two more production lines and add tanks to their batching processes. Due to the limited number of resources and my experience on the line, I ended up getting the chance to assist in the design the two new production lines and layout the new batching tanks. It was an amazing opportunity and I loved every second of it.
