- Provide professional learning opportunities (workshops, webinars, online courses, conference sessions, etc.) on high-priority topics or for high-priority audiences such as elementary educators, district parent liaisons, special education teachers, and library media specialists, technology staff, families, and students.- Lead monthly library media specialist virtual networking events to create a dedicated space for librarians to network, collaborate, and share best practices.- In partnership with the Illinois State Board of Education Family and Community Engagement (FACE) department, lead two monthly Family and Community Empowerment virtual networking meetings (one in English and one in Spanish) to create a dedicated space for parent/family liaisons and parent-facing school staff to network, learn, and share best practices.- Develop custom materials and implement training cohorts for educators and administrators focusing on effective educational pedagogy using Microsoft technology. This cohort will provide over 30 hours in professional development and will launch in January 2022. The pilot cohort will be 30 educators, with plans to expand the program in summer 2022.- Develop and implement a training program targeted at equipping pre-service and first-year teachers with the educational technology skills they will need to be successful in the classroom. The program will launch in early summer 2022.- Act as the LTC's Microsoft Global Training Partner lead trainer and point of contact.- Provide consulting and professional development sessions for schools and districts focusing on Microsoft Education apps and resources. Sessions are on a variety of topics, including Teams, OneNote, Office 365 apps, accessibility tools, coding, Minecraft, and general best practices in a 1:1 Microsoft environment.- Develop general educational technology resources, such as the Technology Integration Framework, in collaboration with other LTC staff.
