My strong adversarial writing skills have led me to focus on a successful appeal practice.I also counsel individuals and small businesses on all matters related to intellectual property including trademark and copyright issues, contract advisement and due diligence practice.Prior to my entry into intellectual property law, I worked as a research associate for a biotechnology firm, where I carried out drug discovery research to identify small molecules affecting therapeutic targets in cancer biology, inflammation, Alzheimer’s disease and HIV/AIDS via novel RNA-based mechanisms. My time in the lab has allowed me to take a practical approach to my patent practice.I am a member of the Law Practice Management Committee of the American Intellectual Property Law Association.
