Coordinating the elements of a violence prevention intervention in the parish of St. James, Jamaica. Based on the model of the hospital intervention in the mid 2000's at the Bustamante Hospital for Children in Kingston, the intervention will focus on children and youth victims of abuse and violence presenting at the Cornwall Regional Hospital. Called CAMP.

Provided technical support in the development of an intervention called Violence among School-Aged Children in the Bahamas. Tasks included facilitating consultations and workshops in order to develop protocols for an alert system in primary and secondary schools, prior to implementing the system in two test institutions.

Co-facilitating a series of workshops for potential community facilitators from the Greater Mona Valley, in Kingston, Jamaica. Topics included, Child Development, Discipline, Strengths-based parenting, Parent-Child Communication, Parenting Then and Now, Fatherhood and Self-Esteem.

As the Caribbean Coordinator for a global research and education project entitled MAGIC (http://www.magic-project.eu/), which includes 20 countries and regions from around the world, including the Caribbean, I was responsible for ensuring Caribbean participation in the project. This included coordinating technical training, engaging researchers, academics.
