Profile bio

About Colleen Wint-Bond

Let's go for it! - that is my approach when faced with a challenge. I am passionate about creating better development opportunities for the under-served, and those with little access or resources. I enjoy motivating young professionals and interns to work towards high standards - that was a gift I was given in my early career and I enjoy paying it back. Literacy, parenting skills, health and public health issues, the environment, cultural expression and development, diversity and sharing, youth development and mentoring - all areas of interest to me. What do I bring? An organized and even tempered personality, analytical thinking with a sense of humour and a positive, "we'll get-it-done" approach. I have high expectations of myself and team members, utilising resources and creativity to achieve results. I can work independently, but enjoy working in and with a team to achieve deadlines within budget. I work hard but also acknowledge the benefits of making time to relax and have a laugh. In whatever I do, I want to make even a small difference in the lives of those that I serve and those learning to serve. I celebrate life and I see the cup as ALWAYS half full!
