Serve as Charge Nurse and superuser for various new technology within the hospital. Administer medications in line with treatment plan and physician orders, document patient care in EMRs, adjust care plans, monitor mothers on magnesium sulfate for preeclampsia, insert IV’s and perform blood draws, assess and monitor high risk moms and infants right after delivery, work in newborn nursery, educate parents on at home care for newborn and care for self, float to stepdown NICU as needed. Excel and PowerPoint Communication Communicate effectively with coworkers and management for quality care. Educate patients so that they understand in their own language and level.
