I am a Telecommunication (Transmission) Engineer , Voice & Data [ PDH ,SDH,DWDM ( Optic Fibre Transmissions), Computer Networking & Cable TV. I worked as a Systems Integration Test Engineer at Alcatel-Lucent Submarine DWDM Networks Lab Test Centre-UK. And now working for Platform X , a Wholesale Network Carrier company that provides connectivity across UK for Multiple telecom Vendors/ ISP.I studied Wireless Mobile Communication Systems Engineering at the Greenwich University ( London , UK),and graduated with a first class honours degree .I attended a Zimbabwe telecommunication training college, Sagem SDH Training centre( Paris, France) .My final year project at the University " Remote wireless temperature/humidity sensor and monitor " was a prize winner after an excellent Dragon Den Style presentation judged by BILEC (Board for Industrial Liaison on Engineering Courses in UK). Winner of this prestigious award published in the Kent local and London newspapers .I am currently working for Alcatel - Lucent/Nokia as an Integration & commissioning Engineer on DWDM Optic Fibre Submarine Networks. I have project managed a number of DWDM Optical Terminal projects from planning, implementation, testing ,customer education and handover of the project..
