With over 20 years of legal leadership and experience, I am the General Counsel at LevitasBio, a biotechnology company that develops and commercializes novel magnetic cell separation technologies. I am responsible for overseeing all legal matters, including intellectual property, contracts, compliance, and corporate governance, and providing strategic advice and guidance to the executive team and the board of directors.As a registered patent attorney and a Ph.D. in pharmacology, I have a deep understanding of the scientific and technical aspects of the biotechnology industry, as well as the legal and regulatory landscape. I have successfully created and executed aggressive legal strategies that meet or exceed business goals, from private financing to IPO and acquisitions. I have also led IP acquisition and due diligence, developed product protection strategies, and negotiated IP-intensive sales and collaboration agreements with global partners.
