Undergraduate Teaching AssistantPurdue University College Of Engineering Aug 2022 - Dec 2022West Lafayette, Indiana, UsAssisted students with Python assignments during in-person office hours. Also hosted online office hours to offer 1-1 programming support to students. Graded Python assignments for correct content, comments, and descriptions. Used code similarity review tools to detect academic dishonesty. -
A.I. Applications Research AssistantPurdue University Libraries And School Of Information Mar 2022 - Dec 2022Analyzed scholarly article word embeddings and vector representations using sklearn and Python. Created Naive-Bayes and SVM classifier pipelines using sklearn, achieving about 70% accuracy with the SVM classifier. Previously, utilized natural language processing and data cleaning techniques to 1400+ research abstracts and "tags". Calculated topic relationships between scholarly articles, then visualized the top 200 topic relationships using a Streamlit and Pyvis network, which is being used to aid data curation and relationship discovery from Purdue University Research Repository (PURR). -
