In this internship, I had the role of working with children in trouble with the law that were court ordered to the center for a variety of reasons. I would join in escorting the boys to their mandated court dates, and attend class with them at the local school, in which I would give presentations to the students about United States history and politics. Along with helping the boys with their English speaking and writing skills, I was also responsible for giving emotional support and advice to any struggling child, when needed. Upon my return to the United States, I was tasked with giving a presentation about the experience to a group of sponsors who donated to the trip.

Helped children from around the area coming from unfortunate conditions by supporting their growth through learning, studying, and sports. As well, we went through their daily routines, and while the children were in class, helped in the local construction of the on-site chapel.
