When American Campus Communities recently acquired the Mercury 3100 property I spoke with the area manager about moving up the company and was offered the opportunity to transfer to the new property to help out the understaffed office and show the previous employees how to run the office the ACC way. So far in this leasing season I have successfully completed multiple sales valued at over $120,000 for my company. The new property was in biking distance of my old one so I happily took the offer and am currently working for the property as a leasing agent.

I began my career with American Campus Communities at The Village at Science Drive, a student-focused property just next to the UCF main campus. While in office I handle all resident and prospect e-mails, calls, tours, and facilitate the sale of 12-month leases to new residents. During this leasing season I have successfully completed multiple sales valued at over $110,000 for my company. While outside of the office I deal with resident issues any time of the day or night through the on-call phone service. I ensure the smooth flow of new prospects into the property and turn them into residents.

I took a summer job at Tokyo Tapas in Oviedo after my freshman year in college where I had not worked for 1 year to adjust to college learning. I successfully managed, assembled, cooked, several take-out orders and went above and beyond to help the company and my managers. I loved the job and all of my coworkers but had to part ways to focus on a more consistent and office focused position at another company
