I began working for an independent contractor at the age of 14 and continued working in this field through college. I have always enjoyed working with my hands; however, I was most fascinated with building relationships with customers and other employees. This pushed me to obtain a business management degree from The University of Georgia. After I graduated, I became an onsite project manager for a small company called DOC assembly, which focused on assembling gazebos, pergolas, and private playgrounds. On a daily basis, I built relationships with customers that often led to referral jobs or repeat jobs; in addition, I always wanted to have a fun work culture with my employees so it never felt like we were truly working. I am now looking to broaden my horizons and work more behind the scenes while using my interpersonal skills and knowledge in agile project management.
