On a daily basis research and process corporate actions in multiple accounting systems. Action types include mergers, stock splits, spinoffs (including when-issued trading), rights distributions and redemptions, cash and stock dividends, bond calls, bankruptcies, and private placements. Reconcile client holdings versus agent holdings to ensure accurate corporate action transaction processing. Ensure all relevant documentation and record-keeping is maintained within event files.

Began serving as a trainer and leadership role for taxable funds and various functional teams. Became much more involved in Trade Team by booking market trades, cancel/rebooks, and in-kind transfers. I have taken over the lead role on TBA trade reconciliations with all custodians. On a weekly basis I assist in calculating SEC yields for all fixed income mutual funds. I book futures, options, and swaptions, approve daily futures margins, and continuously expand my knowledge on derivatives. Taking on fund accounting responsibilities on more complex fixed income taxable funds with investments in bank debt, foreign securities, futures, options, and swaptions.

Operated as a mutual fund accountant on taxable funds for the Fixed Income team. Performed general ledger accounting, produced timely and accurate net asset values, yields, and distributions. In my time in this role I joined several functional teams and strove to learn various facets of the investment operations process.
