During my time with the Town of Smithtown, I worked both in the office, as well as in the field. I worked on two main GIS oriented projects in my time with the town. One being three different vacancy studies for the hamlets of Smithtown, which required field work as well as data processing and database updating. The second project was the mapping of all Smithtown tax lots included within the NYS LWRP plan. One additional great experience was going to the field with a senior planner to gather drone photography and video to incorporate into planning process.

Arrived early mornings to work with crew mates on preparing the course and make sure it’s up to play standards. Worked with gas and diesel equipment pertaining to landscaping.

Arrived each workday at to set up beach for club members. Scanned beach and water while on duty to ensure safety for all patrons. While off the lifeguard stand, worked beach entrance checking membership passes and directing parking.
