DCA Construction is an agricultural driven company. DCA's main objective is to service the farmer from the ground up. DCA's line of work includes layer and pullet barns for chickens, hog barns, machine sheds, processing facilities, cattle barns, ect. DCA also has the capability of doing home additions and houses, but there main focus is agricultural.My job responsibilities include but are not limited to bidding jobs, talking to customers, ordering materials, and designing and drawing plans to fit the customers needs.

My duties as a process engineer at Nascote (Magna Location) were to design assembly lines for automotive parts after the injected molded part was painted. The Assembly Department was responsible for installing wire harness, lights, clips for screws, and anything else the customer needed to make the final assembly of the vehicle proficient. Nascote's focus was mainly front and rear bumpers, but I was also exposed to rocker panels, spoilers, and trim packages as well. Some of the projects I was involved with was the Lincoln C1TL (Front and Rear Bumper), Nissan Nismo and Leaf (Rockers), Chevy ZR2 (Front and Rear Bumper), and Toyota TRD Trim Packages (Avalon and Camry). These programs included hand operations and processes, ultrasonic welding machines, snap presses, clip installation machines, vision testing, and much more. I also was in charge of writing the scope for ordering the machines and the PFMEA documentation to go along with it.During my time at Nascote I was able to get a very wide range of experiences. This included minimal understanding of molding and paint processes and a diverse understanding of the automotive assembly processes before the final assembly of the vehicle. I took pride in my work so the quality of parts we produced was very important to me so, I worked hand and hand with the quality department to resolve any issues. Nascote was a great opportunity and I enjoyed my time there. The reason I left was due to the Covid shut down and my family purchasing and running a construction company that they needed help with.
