Oil and Gas/Engineering Department Manager over a project management and multi-discipline design engineering team of 26 people in support of the oil and gas industry in Alaska. Work under my remit and within the team included Hilcorp pipelines and infrastructure, Santos pipelines, ConocoPhillips pipelines and temporary facilities. In addition to the oil and gas manager role, I crossed over departments and supported federal design build projects with Walsh Group Construction and L3Harris.Beginning January 1, 2021: Won the Port of Alaska - Anchorage, Engineering Term Contract over the 25-year incumbent firm. As the PM and business lead, I held the single point of accountability (SPOC) to deliver multi-discipline engineering tasks in support of the POA's mission. Key pieces of work included management of internal resources and sub-consultants to support project cost and percent complete tracking, wharf studies, valve yard mechanical and electrical upgrades and modifications, interface support between the existing port facilities and the PCT installations, environmental reporting, cathodic protection monitoring, and other duties or tasks as assigned in the brownfield aging infrastructure environment.

Global Operations Organization (GOO) Civil/Structural Team Lead Accountable for Integrity Management of North Slope Assets operated by BP Alaska. Development of strategy documents, contractor management in delivery of strategy. As CS IM TL, I am accountable to wear multiple additional hats within the BP organization including Discipline Engineering Team Lead, Logistics and Infrastructure CS SPOC, and defacto CS TA for the Alaska region.

Global Projects Organization (GPO) Currently supporting the business in short term special projects to enhance the business understanding of impacts of data and MOC. Also accountable for Facility Wet Gas Piping replacement projects, CCP FFF, Lib Demob, and Fac. Siting.

Supporting delivery of Mechanical and Civil/Structural EPC for Tangguh Expansion Project. Provided oversight of contractor for completion of 60% mechanical model review. Provided technical expertise for earthquake design load combinations and mechanical package designs to the discipline leads.

Special assignment role in support of GOO East Area DETL/Dept. Area Engineering Support Team Lead (AESTL) Supporting Management of Change (MOC) documentation for operational changes for Prudhoe Bay Alaska, validation of safety and risk element for designs, PRF's, HRR, BP RAT, work prioritization, PEI, and AESTL/DETL consistency.

In the role of Major Gas Sales Engineering Team Lead, Accountable for preparation of the Prudhoe Bay Unit (PBU) facilities for AKLNG start up. Key delivery elements included engineering scope documents required for start up and management of engineering, budget, schedule and quality for all related scopes of work from Appraisal through Execute within the GPO Alaska Region. As the PBU field was originally constructed in the mid 70's, the bulk of work is considered Brownfield with the complexities of implementation within the aging existing infrastructure. In the role I oversaw the MGS Engineering program of work in Pre-CD, and the GC-1 Wet Gas piping replacement project through IFC documentation in preparation for Summer 2017 TAR delivery. The Wet Gas Piping replacement project was installed ahead of schedule and under budget with greater than 99% fit up first time of complex piping within the existing modules. This excellent result was in part due to the robust dimensional control plan developed and utilized.

In the role of Pipelines Engineering Team Lead, I am accountable for the design and assurance review of the BP Global Projects Organization (GPO) Alaska pipeline portfolio I oversee engineering scope, budget, schedule and quality for all pipeline work from Appraisal through Execute within the GPO Alaska Region. The projects are worked within the BP Category B framework in accordance with CVP and typically range between 15-250 Million in TIC. As the field was originally constructed in the mid 70's, the bulk of work is considered Brownfield with the complexities of implementation within the aging existing infrastructure. I currently oversee nine projects in various CVP stages through construction and handover to operations. (NGI, DS16/17, DS-04, DS14, J-74, LS04/05, DS18, DS09, and GC-1 Wet Gas).

I oversee engineering project deliverables and support operations on an as needed basis for BP in Alaska. I'm the Engineering Manager for a team of multi-discipline engineers that work with contract engineering firms to delivery Pipeline Renewal, Facility Siting, Fire & Gas, and Brownfield projects. BP re-organized in 2015 which led to a positional change and removal of all programmatic EM positions. Total portfolio TIC value ranged from $300-$400 Million.

Accountable for Pre-Appraise through Select CVP stages as Developments Manager for Pipeline Renewal Projects (PRP). Establish project prioritization methodology and business case development.BP re-organized in 2010 and I was placed in this role. During the re-organization, I performed the role of Engineering Team Lead, MPTA for Liberty, and also as the EM for Liberty Part II. Once the re-organization was completed, I was placed into the role of PRP Appraisal TL.

Engineering Manager for Liberty Part 2. This role was interim for 7 months to provide coverage and oversite during the 2010 BP re-organization. I was accountable for making sure that the high pressure water injection system was ready for implementation upon success of the Liberty Part 1 Ultra Extended Reach Drilling (UERD). The design landed was to bring early oil production through a sacrificial header system while the remainder of the system was being designed. The design was completed and shelved. Liberty Part 1 was also halted. Liberty is now being developed with Hilcorp as an island option versus UERD.

I manage a team of engineers within the BP projects directorate. As a member of ASCG, the team provided multi-discipline Architectural and Engineering design services as well as Transportation design services. Work fronts include commercial building design, rural schools, fire stations, hospitals, and support to the oil and gas industry.

Associate Owner and Senior structural engineer. I provided design and project management for military fueling and infrastructure projects as well as commercial building design and private sector industrial design.
