Head Golf Professional
CurrentThis past summer I moved from my internship role, to being the Head Golf Professional. This was unexpected as the Head Pro at the time resigned a week into the month of June and I was next in line. I took over as the manager of the golf shop and staff of the golf side of the business. I was attending meetings with the 3 other managers of their departments as well as the courses General Manager and Owner. I was in charge of setting up and running golf tournaments, corporate outings, and other golf related events. I was also in charge of marketing and social media. This experience gave me great insight on what being a manager entails and really gave me a glimpse of what the real world is like after I am done with school.
