Supervising procurement making sure all the processes are run according to the procurement policy and best practices for eliminating the risk of fraud and managing spend.

Key Responsibilities Plan and supervise the workflow in the warehouse. Order, receive and handle materials into the warehouse. Plan and organize materials and items at proper places in a warehouse. Hire and provide training for new employees. Maintain and manage inventories accurately. Replenish materials with regards to production schedules and customer orders. Create, plan and implement accuracy in inventory controls. Organize the storage of finished products. Implement safety procedures and standards in all warehouse operations. Processing orders. Operating mechanical and IT systems. Liaising with transport companies, suppliers and clients. Training, supervising and appraising staff. Maintaining statistical and financial records. Devising rotas for staff. Ensuring that quality objectives and delivery deadlines are met. Managing budgets.

Effective management of the team’s functionality. Managing of stock levels within the factory. Price Negotiations & lead time agreements, confirmation of credit agreements with the finance team. Procurement of the tasks of the project allocated aligned to involvement with Drawings from the design team. Effective management of purchase orders.
