As an inspector I would observe and record all data from the job site. For example, I would walk with the drill locator and record depths as the bore was shot. I would keep a set of construction prints on me to make sure the drill crews stayed inside of the limits for the project. Then after the job was completed I would make a updated version of the prints with any changes and turn that in to the engineer.
