BASc in Mechanical Engineering from the University of British Columbia with strong background in manufacturing and mechanical design. Passionate about motorsports, design of mechanical components and systems, application of modern manufacturing processes and sustainability.I’ve built up a variety of skills and experiences that can be directly applied to a career in the automotive, motorsports, and manufacturing industries. I have been a designer and project manager with responsibilities including: leading large and small teams, producing and maintaining CAD assemblies and drawings, coordinating manufacturing, sourcing components, quality control, and mechanical design from the component level up to the vehicle systems level. I’ve conducted testing of components including: chassis torsional rigidity, anti-roll bar stiffness validation, crush testing of vehicle crash structure and using both damper and chassis dynamometers for tuning suspension and engine characteristics. Additionally, I've run vehicle testing days for suspension (and general vehicle) tuning, analysed data to identify vehicle balance and to grade set-up performance.Since my youth I’ve been a tinkerer and builder. I’ve wrenched on my own cars and produced many parts for the Formula SAE car using manufacturing methods from machining and fabrication to composite layups. With Omni-Lite I did set-ups and ran cold forging machines for development of new products culminating in a patented process for cold forging ball bearings.
Listed skills include Solidworks, Manufacturing, Autocad, Machining, and 5 others.
