I believe learning is a lifelong experience and the best investment you can make in your future.I've worked as a math instructor and Center Director for Mathnasium for many years and have observed both the depths of hopelessness in incoming students and the joy they discover when math finally clicks with them. it's a feeling that motivates me: if a child who had given up on understanding can overcome that feeling and empower themselves, what are the limits to what we can do?I'm an aspiring tech professional, and my goals for the near future in the field begins with doing well in my cohort with the UT Dallas Cyber Bootcamp that starts in August, and obtaining a certification on the CompTIA+ afterward. I have the strong background in Math and Science that makes me confident I can learn a lot in this new exciting field and excel, as well as the job experience to know what I want out of the program.While I am looking to change my career for the time being, I will take into any new job prospects that same feeling of optimism and drive to better myself. In keeping with that motivation, I look forward to joining the Cybersecurity boot camp at UTD and hope to connect and grow with the many new classmates i meet there!
