Cargotec is a public listed company in the Helsinki stock exchange with over Euro 3 Billion yearly turnover and is one of the largest global provider of specialist products and services for the ports and logistics supply chain industry. Collin helmed Cargotec Malaysia as Managing Director from 2001 to 2016,, growing the business into an operation which breached the RM100 Million turnover threshold and employing more than 150 multinational staff. This also led to Collin being promoted to a regional position as a Director in the Cargotec Regional Executive Management Team overseeing the Asia Pacific Region in 2013.Collin believes in the future of technology, and in 2018 founded Newport Technologies, a technology start-up focusing on the development of software and technology tools for the global Port industry. Newport has received a grant from the Government of Malaysia to carry out research and development in the areas of automation and safety for the port industry. Collin is also passionate about social impact and nation building. Inspired by his peers in EO, Collin co-founded Projek57, an award winning social enterprise based in Malaysia. Projek57 is a 'Movement of Hope', to inspire unity between the different races and faiths in communities, and to empower youths to be involved in creating a better future for the Nation. Collin is married to Debbie Choa and have 2 teenage sons. In his free time, Collin enjoys the game of football supports Manchester United.
