I am an Electrical Engineer for General Dynamics, and completed their 3-year Engineering Leadership Program in 2021. At the same time, I also completed a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering. The branch of GD that I am a part of focuses on undersea networks and systems, and I am proficient in the following areas:- Drafting critical item and design verification tests- Performing design verification and functional lab tests (optical and electrical)- Simulating in LTSpice- Creating and revising electrical schematics- Designing printed circuit boards- Analog circuit design at voltages up to 8kVdcFrom 2021-2022, I worked on a 5-person team to turn a white-paper idea for a UUV battery charger into a proof-of-concept lab demonstration that received a $4 million follow-on contract. From 2023-present, the team expanded to ~15 people and we worked toward a deployable system. A $9 million contract extension was granted after a very successful customer demonstration.I work closely with a skilled engineering design team and have experience with analog circuit design/simulation, conducting design/peer reviews as well as submitting material to managers for customer status reviews. I am proficient in LTspice circuit simulation tool and MentorGraphics Xpedition schematic capture and board layout tools.In my spare time, I am in the process of restoring a 1975 Gottlieb Fast Draw pinball machine. It is fully electro-mechanical (no integrated circuits in 1975), and it has been entertaining to understand the schematic and troubleshoot the machine. The antique paint job is beautiful. When I first purchased it, it did not work, but I now have it in about 85% working condition (playable). I also enjoy stock trading, concerts, playing the guitar, hiking, and woodworking.I truly believe there is nothing you can't learn. The astounding resource of the internet is an open door to a plethora of knowledge; if you can imagine it, you can do it.
