I have a knack for tech, an aptitude for problem solving and want to immerse myself in a career where I get to utilize those skills. I worked in customer service for five years managing multiple teams but felt like I wasn’t utilizing my whole potential. Throughout that time I taught myself web technologies and worked on a few open source projects. I began to see how the lack of web presence for the companies I was working for was a hinderance for them. I wanted to help kickstart their online presence but could see I wasn’t getting the full picture being solely self taught. In order to advance my knowledge I enrolled in General Assembly’s Web Development program. I am now a full-stack engineer with experience in in Javascript, Node, Ruby, and HTML5. I am looking forward to helping companies start and further develop their online presence.
