As a member of Cherry Bekaert’s Management Team and Chief Executive Officer and Managing Partner for Cherry Bekaert LLP, Collin serves as Managing Partner of Assurance Services. In this role, he is responsible for the execution of exceptional client service, talent management, mergers and acquisitions and all other operational aspects related to the delivery of Assurance services to the Firm’s clients.Collin also serves as the Risk and Accounting Advisory Leader for Cherry Bekaert in the Advisory Services practice which includes oversight of Risk Advisory, Accounting Advisory and Information Assurance & Cybersecurity practice areas.As an Assurance Partner with extensive experience serving a broad array of clients with real-world business challenges in the technology, life sciences, professional services, industrial/manufacturing and distribution industry sectors. Experienced in all phases of financial auditing, reporting and consulting services, his practice focuses on publicly traded and privately held growing commercial enterprises.Additional areas of focus include SEC and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, revenue recognition, share-based compensation and intricate debt and equity financing transactions. With the designation of Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Collin possesses fraud experience in investigations and reporting on expense schemes, lapping and skimming, and other matters.In 2024, Collin was recognized as a Forbes Top 200 CPA. The list is comprised of CPAs with impressive track records in their specialties and includes emerging leaders and individuals advancing the CPA profession or giving back to the community.Collin is a former board member of the Council of Entrepreneurial Development (CED).
