While at the FTC, I conducted federal antitrust investigations and managed cases involving price fixing, boycotts, and unlawful joint venture activity. I then returned to Dallas to join the law firm of Jackson Walker LLP in 1997, where I handled various litigation and corporate matters, M&A, and securities filings.In 2002, I was recruited to take an in-house counsel position with Nokia, the global mobile phone giant. While with Nokia, I negotiated multi-million-dollar sales and marketing deals with US telecom operators, OEMs, and other industry players. I traveled the globe and concluded numerous deals internationally as the GC of Nokia’s enterprise security business unit, where I was responsible for all product lifecycle legal matters relating to R&D, product manufacturing, marketing and advertising, sales and distribution, support and warranty claims, and end-of-life ramp down activities. From 2009 through 2021, I operated a successful solo law practice. During this time, I also served as General Counsel for two growth companies, in which I was responsible for various corporate and Board governance activities, attending Board of Director meetings and preparing minutes and resolutions as appropriate; handling debt and equity financings; managing intellectual property portfolios, litigation dockets, and negotiating a wide range of complex commercial contracts and transactions.I now enjoy my legal practice with Fulton Jeang, LLC, a Texas based general practice firm of 28 attorneys (and growing).
