I created a performance-critical translation gateway to convert messages from the firm's internal representation to that of a prominent stock exchange. I conducted extensive unit and functional testing on my code and wrote a flexible console application to aid in certification testing with the exchange. I successfully certified my gateway for both options and equities, so it could be put into production.

I worked with a team to bring a data visualization dashboard through all stages of development using Agile. I taught myself SQL outside of work and became the subject matter expert on the team. I used my new-found knowledge to suggest performance improvements to existing dashboards, which led to my methods being adopted as the new standard.
