I'm working on something new.I build high performing robotics and AI teams and love to deliver deliver robot products. My teams are hallmarked by technical excellence, focus, and a high execution cadence. I build cultures with a high bar for quality and getting stuff done along with individual ownership and autonomy, at every level of the organization. I love to coach, but also love to participate in the details, from architecture to implementation. I’m a big believer in the importance of leaders being involved and understanding the intimate details without overriding or micromanaging. I led all Autonomy at Kodiak for both defense and commercial applications. I was a Founding Engineer building our perception, prediction, planning, and controls for self-driving trucks, both implementation and technical leadership. Formerly, I have been a startup CEO, head of data science, engineering director and site manager, aerospace research scientist, and mechanical engineer.
