Starting one of Utah's own pickleball paddle companies has taught me the importance of branding and creativity in a saturated and fiercely competitive market. My business partner and started this business in college and have grown it into a profitable e-commerce business in less than a year. As part of being a legal assistant, I review, prepare, and submit legal documents to the court. I'm also in charge of supervising the various financial accounts associated with all incoming and outgoing payments. Working at a law office has given me perspectives into how a legal entity can be more efficient and effective as a small business.

Being a Lead Testing Proctor involves using effective verbal communication to lead 8 other employees to produce the most efficient and professional testing experience for thousands of students at Utah State and surrounding colleges. I regularly review and encourage proctors to provide the best customer service possible. As the lead proctor, I'm also responsible for providing information to customers from different universities around the state. I also had the opportunity to suggest and implement a method for reducing cheating and saving time for employees.

Utah State University Uintah Basin is a regional campus of USU. As the first marketing intern for a regional campus, I'm responsible for creating and developing a social medial campaign for the campus. I facilitate a weekly marketing meeting where we discuss the progress of our plan and our ideas for the future. Along with social media experience, I'm also involved in extensive web auditing. I've also interviewed faculty and engaged with the community to help Utah State be more transparent in their programs and image.

Gained proficiency in cleaning procedures and proper use of cleaning supplies. After only a month of working I began to take the additional work of an employee that was dismissed.

As a secretary to the former Lieutenant Governor of Utah I was engaged in creating, digitizing, and organizing hundreds of legal documents into an online database. This project helped me develop a strong awareness of digital data analysis and quality work ethic. I also was engaged in dictating correspondence between Mr. McKeachnie and many of his clients. I was privileged to accompany Mr. McKeachnie to multiple law settings and gain a valuable understanding of entrepreneurship and the key role of relationships in any industry.

Doing cashier work for The Little Sweet Pea helped me develop positive customer service abilities. I learned reliability and self-motivation through being in charge of the store when the owners weren't around.
