Sophomore forensic science major also pursuing a biotechnology certificate and chem minor in the Honors Program at Roger Williams University.I have valuable lab experience starting my junior year of high school where I took Biotechnology I and II, and then labs in college so far for molecular and cell biology and general and organic chemistry. Last summer, I worked at RWU to create a circuit that reported electrochemical currents to indicate the presence of Perkinsus marinus in vitro. Currently, I am a lab assistant in an aquatic diagnostic/pathology lab performing tissue collection, DNA extractions, and assisting in qPCR.Future goals of mine include interning at a state crime or medical examiners lab, and then working in one or entering graduate school.
