Leadership and Service Programs Graduate Assistant

As a Community Assistant on campus at Stephen F. Austin State University I get the chance to meet and interact with students and faculty on a daily basis and promote professionalism when representing the University. I had the opportunity to manage the third floor of the freshman hall Lumberjack Landing and promoted academic excellence within my community, I was required to work the front desk six hours a week and monitor who enters the building, attend four staff meetings each month,and host programs every month for students to attend to establish community.

As a student director of the Purple Haze Association I am able to communicate with collegiate coaches, faculty, and marketing team, maintain and update social media and website, and supervise a committee of 29 members. I was also selected to represent the Purple Haze Association at the National Cheer and Dance Championships in 2015.
