• Provide financial management technical capacity support to municipalities and Budget and Treasury Office(BTO) staff on focus areas of support related to local government financial management reforms, legislativecompliance and infrastructure investment planning• Compile a district financial management capacity support plan based on an assessment of the requirements ofthe municipalities and support programmes implemented by other government departments and agencies• Support municipalities with designing and implementing workable Supply Chain Management (SCM) policiesand standard operating procedures (SOPs), effective contract management processes and systems,compliance with SCM regulatory prescripts and value for money procurement• Provide technical support and guidance to municipalities on the implementation of Generally RecognisedAccounting Practice (GRAP) standards, preparation of in-year and annual financial statements (AFS), internalaudit and audit committees, accounting related policies and internal controls and audit action plans• Assist municipalities with the preparation of credible, funded and compliant medium-term budgets and long-term

• Providing independent financial expertise to the arbitrator through analysing the annual financial statements and ancillary financial documents submitted by municipalities to the SALGBC

• General financial oversight• Funding, fundraising and sales• Financial planning and budgeting• Financial reporting to the board

• Lead the team to deliver projects and sessions which keep the self-esteem, confidence and skills of young people at the core, with special emphasis on transition periods for young people. i.e. entering some form of education, employment or training, moving between schools• Lead the team to deliver opportunities for quality information, advice and guidance for young people to empower them to help to make positive life choices• Lead the team to support young people to access provision across the range of ColFik Foundation and partners services, with the development of sustainable, equal opportunities• To possess the skills to be able to involve young people in decisions that directly affect them
