Collins O. Ugwu is currently a Graduate Research Assistant at the Department of Biological Systems Engineering (BSE), Virginia Tech, USA. I'm working on the conversion of abundant Municipal Solid Wastes (MSW) for Biofuels/Biogas production through Gasification and Solid State Anaerobic Digestion (SS-AD) techniques. I'm also a lecturer in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, University of Nigeria, Nsukka. Previously, I was involved in researches bordering on Solid waste management and renewable energy reviews.Most importantly, I'm highly motivated, mentally and physically fit for any academic and research assignments/projects/tasks.My major areas of interest are in Renewable Energies, Environmental Sustainability, Industrial Engineering, Engineering Management and Mechanical Engineering.I'm good with Python and Matlab for handling big data. I've good communication, writing and analytical skills. I've also published some scholarly articles in reputable journals. I've presented a couple of scientific papers in both international and local journals. I'm open to collaborations that will foster exchange of knowledge and publications.
