As a Library Media Specialist, I have been leading and innovating in the areas of digital and news literacy, global education, STEM/STEAM, and makerspaces. I've also been teaching engineering and design, computer science, and research skills to students of diverse backgrounds and abilities. My mission is to foster a culture of inquiry, creativity and collaboration in the school community as well as beyond, and to empower students and teachers to use technology and media effectively and responsibly. I have been recognized for my contributions and achievements statewide and nationally by several awards, fellowships, and honors in the field of library media and STEM education.
