Identify and evaluate hazardous conditions and practices as well develop hazard control procedures.• Review Job Safety Analysis, J.S.A to ensure that all associated hazards are identified and effective control and recovery measures put in place. • Monitor regular safety inspections/assessments on-site and at key off-site subcontractor locations in accordance with established project and site safety plans.• Participate in the elaboration / review of the key documents related to Project Operational HSE (emergency procedures, contingency plans, Shelter in place & its drills) • Identify and work to eliminate hazards, unsafe conditions, and unsafe acts; work with company and subcontractor management toward achieving incident and injury-free work place.• Advise site team of safety initiatives, issues, challenges, and incident investigations/follow-up• Participate in investigation and follow-up of incidents/accidents; prepare notifications/reports for communication of significant incidents to company project/functional management per project incident reporting procedures and matrix.• Monitor work processes to ensure compliance with the site Work Permit System and area/system responsibilities.• Coordinate the Inspection of administrative and operative areas on site to ensure compliance with Safety, Health and Environment standards and procedures. • Drive regular audits exercise to assess HSE compliance on the project.• Provide Safety, Health and Environment support within project areas.• Monitor discharge permits, proper waste segregation and disposal. • Preparation of quality HSE training packages and power point presentation for inductions and site specific programs.• Leads the pre-tour safety meetings and participates in weekly safety meetings.• Ensure compliance with respect to waste management program.• Ensure Emergency /Evacuation process is strictly enforced and regular drills take place.
