• Identify and evaluate hazardous conditions and practices as well develop hazard control procedures.
• Review Job Safety Analysis, J.S.A to ensure that all associated hazards are identified and effective control and recovery measures put in place.
• Monitor regular safety inspections/assessments on-site and at key off-site subcontractor locations in accordance with established project and site safety plans.
• Participate in the elaboration / review of the key documents related to Project Operational HSE (emergency procedures, contingency plans, Shelter in place & its drills)
• Identify and work to eliminate hazards, unsafe conditions, and unsafe acts; work with company and subcontractor management toward achieving incident and injury-free work place.
• Advise site team of safety initiatives, issues, challenges, and incident investigations/follow-up

I Conduct daily Tool box talk for employees before task commencement. Attend monthly HSE meetings. Attend contractor’s safety meetings and monitor content with the view to improving the production and maintaining good safety practices.Carry out workplace inspection and documentation of the findingsCarry out work place audit and report findings.

• Pre-inspection of work environment, tools & materials before critical job task commences.
• Conduct tool box meeting and give safety talks before the daily activities commences.
• Assist departmental supervisor in preparing job safety analysis.
• Assist in raising company’s work permit.
• Inspect, monitor all activities and give advice when necessary.
• Prepare all necessary reports and audit as the task requires.
