As an On-Site Contractor/Environmental Specialist III at Dominion Energy, I served as Environmental Lead for the Atlantic Coast Pipeline Project. My responsibilities included obtaining new authorizations for the project to proceed considering legal challenges and construction delays. I worked closely with a diverse team to prepare a new Biological Assessment for the United States Fish and Wildlife Service, Supplemental Environmental Impact Statements for the United States Forest Service and National Park Service, and new permit applications for the United States Army Corps of Engineers across four (4) Regulatory Districts. I also obtained new authorizations from various state and local agencies across West Virginia, Virginia, and North Carolina. I managed over a dozen individual environmental consultants and their multi-million-dollar contracts and regularly interfaced with Executive Leadership, internal stakeholders, and external stakeholders.
