Lead Pipeline Developer for Software Development and Informatics, a team of Software Developers and Computational Biologists responsible for the growth and maintenance of the research happening at HAIB - from a software/hardware/data analysis point of view. My duties ranged from pipeline maintenance, design and implementation, being "subject matter expert" for ENCODE3 data submissions, to small scripting and data mining and analysis. Languages primarily used were Python, Bash, Perl and Java. I was involved with Front End development at HudsonAlpha as well, working on internal and external products to support researchers and their respective projects. Most of the technologies used in those projects were Backbone.js/HTML5/React for the Front End, and Java, Keycloak, Wildfly, JAX-RS, MongoDB and Hibernate for the Back End. I have a decent amount of experience in Front End work, but my expertise lies in implementing Back End and writing robust data pipelines for large amounts of data to be processed in.
