The jobs that I have got the most out of have given me the opportunity to be a leader. I enjoy being able to see the top level of a project, and watching it go from start to finish. Being a global product planning lead has allowed be involved in the vehicle creation process from start to finish. As a planner I work with engineering in the very early stages of the vehicle planning to make sure that customer voices are input into vehicle plans as well as upcoming trends in the automotive world are incorporated.As part of the creation process I also have the opportunity to work with global regions to develop pricing, volume strategies based on in depth analysis of competitive landscapes, pricing and volumes as well as an analysis of our own dealership and marketing strengths. Once products have launched I help the global regions to make changes to current vehicles based on current customer feedback,What I desire for my long-term career is to be able to be involved in the changing global business landscape.
