I set up this business with the potential to maximise the facilities and grow a potentially vibrant business on the outskirts of Reading. Employing 4 staff and stocking the shop was priority one, we now have a state of the art GC2 simulator system indoor at our Bunker Golf Club. This system allows us to custom fit players with accurate ball and club data, and also allows players to play a full golf course when in sim mode. The shop has top of the range brands and with customer service seen as our holy grail we aim to deliver the highest quality PGA advice and service at every step of the customers experience. Facilities and services are unrivalled.

Camberley Heath

I aided the new Head Professional at one of Surrey's most prestigious golf clubs in setting up the new Professional shop and developing business in both retail and coaching. Building relationships and growing business strategies helping retain business at this private members club was the key point of my appointment. We also had a state of the art custom fit centre using TRACKMAN where we fitted bespoke miura and vega clubs along with other leading brands. Coaching using this system helped deliver a superior, unrivalled service allowing us to retain and grow business in both retail and coaching. Club fittings and club building were carried out for amateurs up to tour players, such as LET player Maria Verchenova and European Tour stars Scott Drummond and Robert Rock.

Blue Mountain Golf Club

I was promoted from my position at South Winchester to take on the role of developing the Academy at Blue Mountain, Crown Golf's Headquarters and premier site. I was tasked with growing range usage and teaching business for the 5 PGA staff on site. I set up corporate links with Dell, Cable and Wireless, HP, Anixter to name a few that allowed employees to receive benefits through visiting the Driving Range and Academy. Local schools initiatives were set up also growing a non existent junior section to over 50 children attending various coaching sessions weekly.

South Winchester Golf Club

Developing the teaching business at this busy Crown Golf venue. Driving business to the range was a key element to my role and I set up a innovative membership for golfers to use the range and get access to coaching. This helped triple range business and the teaching business for all the PGA staff at the club.

I was the manager of this popular and quickly expanding internet golf retail site for a year and helped increase turnover by over 40% and in turn grew profitability and the awareness of the site. I implemented targeted marketing with measurable results helping us streamline costs and utilise advertising budgets more effectively.I managed the whole operation with three staff under me and oversaw stock buying and all logistical aspects of the dispatch processes associated with online retailing.
