As a Dillon Bass account manager for a number of large wholesale customers I am responsible for volume delivery, credit control, trade terms adherence, new distribution and developing annual promo/marketing plans. I also look after a substantial amount of independent retail accounts across the province where I try to ensure our brands are front and center by leveraging my strong relationships but also outling the value Dillon Bass brings to their business.

Over the past year I have developed a number of fantastic relationships with my customers which have been vital in ensuring that we have created mutual value for one anothers businesses. I am responsible for the selling in of new innovations & channel led activity on our premiums brands, the implementation of merchandising material, category management (product space) and basically ensuring that Diageo Brands are available, visible and being offered at an attractive price.If all this is done correctly it will help drive volume and most importantly our overall goal - more profit into the business. Diageo has become the first major drinks company to launch an online ordering system for their customers and ROI has been the first country to roll out the system. It has been my job to call pub owners as a Diageo representative and sell in the concept and benefits of this new system, create an appointment and then show them how the system operates and ensure they are competent during use.
