Working with Data Acquisitions team for 2 years now...What I'm most proud of is the re-designed data import service which went live 18 months ago as an MVP for our German markets. Since then, it has been extended for the UK, French, Dutch, Belgian and Australian markets. I chose a clean/onion architecture to enable maximum reuse of business logic developed against abstractions. This means it's easy to develop using TDD with mocked external services/dependencies. The confidence we have refactoring and adding features is superb.In addition to this service, I implemented a monitoring service where custom SQL can be executed and alerts/reports notified to custom notifier implementations, e.g. Slack, Email, SMS, etc. This monitoring tool is used with great effect by our business teams to identify and fix issues, frequently before the customer was aware of any issue.I am having a great experience researching, designing and implementing all that we're creating in Data Acquisition at Farmvet Systems.C#, .Net Framework, .Net Core, Windows Services, REST API, SQL, Git, JIRA, Postman, TDD, Agile

Working on a project customizing an Enterprise Claims Document Management system that used the Safe Agile approach with Feature teams. I was involved in debugging/troubleshooting issues, Program Increment (PI) & Sprint Planning and Story creation. Implementing PI and Sprint objective commitments and collaborating with the Software Design Leads and Enterprise Architecture team. Working closely with TIBCO integration and DBA teams on software design and implementation of project features. I was key for employing TDD in a Restful API which also involved architecting a parallel integration solution and mentoring less experienced team members. For this work I also researched and developed an elegant logging solution using DelegatingHandler’s in the HTTP pipeline. My main role was part of a team producing a complex Process Management Designer UI which, after an initial R & D proof of concept involving customer consultation, was developed into a state of the art module for the latest Pulse PLM software. This provided the ability for end users to produce very dynamic custom process templates to meet the workflow requirements that their business required.I initiated and implemented a database versioning process for tracking database upgrades which enabled scripts to be included in PlasticSCM along with source code and labelled accordingly. This was the foundation to allowing continuous integration and test driven development to be added to the development process.I wrote an SQL statement generator for migrating customer data to a particular database version (usually the latest but also for QA to replicate issues in a specific version). Bespoke development of my clients VB6 enterprise application, debugging issues and adapting the application to suit their customer requirements. This application was migrated to C# where I used my WPF experience to introduce WPF to the application and produce controls where WinForms was lacking.I was part of an R&D team providing solutions to complex business problems. With this role, I was on site in the American States of Missouri and Connecticut, in both consulting and developer roles where a C# prototype passed all tests and was then developed in Java as per their partners requirements. The C# UI used WCF to communicate with the Java server components. The traditional Waterfall Lifecycle Model was used in initial projects with the Agile Methodology adopted for later projects.
