Worked as a Mass Spectrometer analyser assembly operative in a cleanroom and GMP environment.Responsibilities included, assembly of MS analysers in a timely and high quality manor with an emphasis on excellent quality assembly, inspection of parts and material prior to assembly as per Waters quality standards, generation of Quality Reports (QRs) when non-conforming material is found and producing high quality analysers on time.Followed and re-drafted SOPs on MS analyser assembly on behalf of the manufacturing engineering team. Co-ordinated with warehouse and supply chain operatives to resolve issues relating to material shortages or quality of material coming into the cleanroom along with the use of SAP.

Worked on manual, semi-automated and fully automated assembly lines on-site. Used a variety of lean tools to identify root causes and resolve a variety of issues on the lines as well as documenting the problem, solution, effect of the solution and generating savings all in the form of A3s and DMAICs. In my 9 months I achieved Jabil’s Lean Bronze Belt Certification by completing a series of Continuous Improvement projects.I was involved in the site-wide rollout of Power BI data visualisation software for use by all major workcells. I created a standard template for each workcell’s production log to be compatible with Power BI and then created a series of reports and dashboards for the manufacturing engineering team to use to track production output, scrap, and OEE. These reports and dashboards were made available online for Workcell Managers and dashboards were used for monthly workcell updates. I carried out training to users and created training documents to help other use Power BI and continue using it after I was finished. I participated in a 3 month production ramp of a an automated assembly line to assess the operational OEE should it be needed in production.
